Design Thesis:

Street On the Water attempts to capture the form and feeling of Scandinavian fishing villages- namely Dragør (the northernmost town in Denmark) and Skagen- by extending the existing street seamlessly out into the harbor. The row of buildings and surrounding decks create a basin reflective of the canals that circumvent the streets of Copenhagen, namely the color and vibrance of Nyhavn.
